Cardiac Management Systems (CMS)
HRI is a complete Cardiac Management System that allows the management of the entire life cycle of an implantable cardiac device from new implant through follow up to device end of life. The system was designed and built with input and advice from a range of cardiac professionals. This has ensured that the HRI system is extremely user friendly and is easily integrated into the workflow of any cardiac clinic.
The HRI system enables consultants to set up a template which will be used in all future procedures. There are more than fifty procedures that can be customised and used to exactly suit the consultant’s requirements. Once this process has been carried out all future reports will be automatically generated when a new procedure is performed on the system.
The New Implant procedure gives the facility to record all details from the implant of all types of Pacemakers, ICDs and Loop Recorders. The implant procedure page is auto populated with the relevant procedure details and the device and lead details can be easily inputted by drop down menus, bar code scanning or the HRI Connect Programmer. When the information has been previewed and saved, the procedure report will be automatically generated and can be printed if required and also automatically saved to the patients HRI record.
The HRI system offers a huge range of features that greatly enhance the administrative abilities of a hospital’s Cardiac Device Management. The system offers a full search ability on all patient, device and lead details, allowing real time statistics to be produced instantly. The system also offers a Research Feature that facilitates the full analysis of all details recorded at patient follow ups. This has proved to be a valuable feature to existing HRI connected hospitals. The system also carries a Hospital Statistics feature which gives a full breakdown of all implant, box change, upgrade and follow up procedures. These statistics can be analysed at a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
The Scheduling Feature provided by the HRI system is seamlessly integrated into the workflow of Cardiac Departments. Appointments can be made either directly through the scheduling feature or through the follow up process. HRI will endeavour to link its scheduling system to any existing hospital scheduling system (must be HL7 compatible). Features of the HRI scheduling system include Automated Patient Appointment Letters, and Flagging and Recording of missed appointments.
HRI Connect
HRI Connect is a service that can connect the HRI system to Industry Device Programmers. This is a unique service developed by Heart Rhythm Intl which facilitates full back up of information, speed of process and elimination of human error. The information seamlessly flows from the programmer directly to the HRI system and updates all relevant data fields. This is an invaluable instrument in the management of Cardiac Device Information. HRI connect is available to all HRI connected hospitals.
