Owing to the huge volume of feedback received from cardiac patients HRI have developed the new HRI Plus membership. HRI Plus Membership is directed at meeting and maintaining all of the needs of the patient and its benefits include;
HRI Plus ID card and Key Fobs
The HRI Plus patient is issued with a HRI Plus ID card and two HRI Plus Key Fobs. The HRI Plus card contains all relevant patient device information and is bar coded to allow connected HRI hospitals instant access to important patient information. The HRI Key Fobs are a smaller version of the card containing relevant patient information and like the HRI Plus card are also bar coded. The HRI Plus card and Key Fobs also contain the HRI international 24/7 helpline. This feature allows healthcare professionals worldwide immediate access to your important information when you need it the most.
HRI Identity Bracelet
The HRI Plus patient is issued with the New HRI Identity Bracelet. This is a silicone bracelet which clearly identifies the wearer as having a Cardiac Device Implanted.
Free Updated HRI Plus Cards and Key Fobs with new implants.
In the event of the HRI Plus patient’s device or lead information changing, (e.g. due to a new procedure) a new HRI Plus Card and Key Fobs containing the updated information will be issued at no additional cost to the patient.
Free Replacement of Lost Cards
In the event of the loss of HRI Plus cards or Key Fobs, replacements will be issued at no additional cost to the patient. (Max no. of replacements per year= one cards and two fobs).
Emergency 24/7 access to Your Information
The HRI Plus Emergency Helpline is active 24 hrs a day, 365 days of the year. The Helpline will enable immediate access to your important information for any health care professional worldwide (with patients consent) *Please note that HRI Plus Helpline is only available to HRI Plus Members.
HRI Plus Mobile Phone Services
HRI Plus membership enables Appointment Reminders sent by text to your mobile phone, (this feature requires participation from your Cardiac Centre). HRI Plus also facilitates the sending, by text, of your Device Details to your mobile phone as a backup source of information whenever required, (e.g. if your card was lost or stolen while travelling).
